2 killed, 8 injured in car accident in southern Israel

Two men were killed on Tuesday morning and eight people were injured in a car accident near Castina Junction, between Tel Aviv and Be’er Sheva.

The accident occurred when a tractor towing a wagon full of workers a collided with a truck. One person sustained critical wounds and another is in serious condition.

On Monday, four people were killed in car accidents across Israel. Two people were killed when a private car and a truck collided near Kfar Yona; on Route 2, a 65-year-old woman was killed after losing control of her vehicle. On Route 4, an Israel Police volunteer was killed after being hit by a vehicle.
