25 Palestinians said hurt in West Bank clashes on anniversary of Arafat’s death

RAMALLAH – Twenty-five Palestinians were reported wounded from “live fire” in clashes with Israeli soldiers on Wednesday, the anniversary of the death of Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, Palestinian health ministry spokesman Mohammed Awawdeh said.

The IDF said Palestinians rolled burning tires and threw stones at troops stationed nearby, who used tear gas and fired low caliber bullets at “main instigators.”
