African migrants start law school studies at Ramat Gan

Two African migrants will be trailblazing new precedents with classes kicking into full gear in their new law student careers on Sunday at the College of Law & Business in Ramat Gan.

The two, activist Mutasim Ali, 28 of Sudan, and court translator Suleiman Masgana, 37 of Eritrea, had to cut through a wide range of challenges to reach this point.

With similar stories of how they arrived in Israel, both traveled extensively in Africa before reaching Egypt and eventually made their way from Egypt to Israel despite facing a range of dangers along the way.
