After 82 years of circulation, The Israel Defense Forces’ official magazine, Bamahane (“In the Camp"), printed its final edition on Tuesday to be “more compatible with the present era,” the army told The Jerusalem Post.

According to a statement provided to the Post by the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit, "Bamahane magazine is not closing but rather, it is being upgraded and made more compatible with the present era. As such, the goal of the changes is to make the magazine more accessible with a digital version. In addition, the magazine will be distributed in print once a month to subscribers .”
