Air force strikes Northern Gaza in retaliation for rocket fire

The Israeli Air Force sturck in Gaza overnight in response to continued rocket fire eminating from the territory. This is the third such attack in 10 days. A spokesman for the army then announced that the Israeli Air Force retaliated overnight from Saturday to Sunday by attacking “terrorist infrastructure” in the north of the Gaza Strip without giving further details.

The defense ministry has also decided to close the crossings between Israel and Gaza “until further notice,” including Erez for passengers and Kerem Shalom for goods, added the spokesman.
