Air raid sirens to sound Tuesday as part of war drill

Two air raid sirens will go off across the country on Tuesday, as part of a Home Front Command nationwide war drill simulating conflict on multiple fronts.

The first siren will ring out at 11:05 a.m. to test school responses to heavy rocket attack, and again at 7:05 p.m. to prompt civilians to seek cover in pre-selected safe areas.

Meanwhile, the Defense Ministry’s National Emergency Authority said Monday that public bomb shelters in northern frontline communities will receive wi-fi internet connections.
