Attack in Ramadi kills two senior Iraqi commanders

Two senior Iraqi military commanders were killed on Thursday in a car bomb attack north of Ramadi, the capital of Anbar province where pro-government forces are battling Islamic State, a military spokesman on state TV and police sources said. Deputy commander of Anbar Operations Command Major General Abdel Rahman Abu Ragheef and Brigadier Safeen Abdel Majeed, head of the tenth division, were killed along with three other people in the attack, the police sources said.
