Bennett feeling threatened, says ‘Left learned nothing from Rabin’s murder’

Bayit Yehudi chairman Naftali Bennett has accused the Left of allowing a violent protest movement against him, likening his treatment  to that of assassinated Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, who was killed by an extreme religious rightist.

Bennett listed a slew of recent violent threats against him from "leftists" in a Facebook post entitled "The Left has Learned Nothing from the Rabin Murder," including a campaign event in Haifa where he says his security prevented him from entering the hall after "radical leftist activists" entered the event.

Bennett also said that after "leftist activists" drew a swastika on his head and gave him a Hitler mustache on a poster, it was decided to provide him with body guards.
