Jewish Home Chairman Naftali Bennett once again made clear his red lines for joining a coalition as elections approach, stressing he would never sit in a government that gives Israeli land to Arabs.
Writing on his Facebook page late Wednesday night, the Economy Minister said he would do everything he could to prevent the uprooting of communities in Judea and Samaria.
"I pledge to do everything in my power to prevent giving away even one inch of Israeli soil to the Arabs," he wrote.
One commenter asked Bennet: "Would you resign from the government if, even by mistake, there is the thought of returning territories?"
The Jewish Home leader answered in the affirmative, stating, "Yes, I will overthrow a government that considers providing [the Arabs] even a centimeter of land."
Another more skeptical commenter wrote that he would do a "print screen of this status. I hope that you really don't cooperate if, God forbid, Bibi [Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu] suddenly gets confused in the next government and hands over land."
Bennett responded passionately, saying, "My brother, there is a 'print screen' of this burnt into my heart. [It has been there] for 3,000 years."
Similar statements regarding his staunch opposition to land transfers have populated Bennett's page in recent weeks.
In a post from last Wednesday, Bennett noted that all other party chairmen "support or [have] supported in the past the transfer of parts of the Land of Israel to the Arabs."
"Only Jewish Home says loud and clear: We will never permit the transfer of an inch of the land of Israel to the Arabs," he stressed.
