Co-Existence Between Palestinians and Jews? It Can Happen

Recent research done by the Ariel University sheds some light on the relationship between Palestinian Arabs and their Jewish co-workers in the industrial area of Judea and Samaria.

“We went to the factories and we interviewed Palestinians and Jews and we listened to what they had to say, and we also conducted questionnaires,” Idit Miller of Ariel University told Arutz Sheva.

“When we talk about co-existence these days, it sounds like an illusion, something we cannot achieve,” she continued. “But we can see in the atmosphere and in what we heard from them that there is a real co-existence between the workers, and it’s something that is really special to see.”

The Palestinian Arab workers, noted Miller, “have confidence, they have the same salary as Jewish workers, and they have the same benefits. I can also say that the managers of the factories see them as good workers. There is a real difference between what you see in the media and the reality in the factories.”
