Conference on the ICC and Israel: To cooperate or not to cooperate?

Experts on the International Criminal Court debated Israel’s future relations with the global court, including whether to continue to cooperate with it or not, as part of a conference on Monday at Bar Ilan.

Sponsored by NGO Monitor and Bar Ilan University, the panel overall was highly skeptical of how the ICC would treat Israel, though at least one panelist advocated informal cooperation as a tactic for reducing the risk of prosecution for alleged war crimes.
