Culture Minister Miri Regev on her ‘loyalty in culture’ bill: ‘I don’t mind people subverting Israel, but not on the State’s dime’

Culture Minister Miri Regev said on Wednesday during a Knesset debate on the ‘loyalty in culture’ bill  that “anyone who acts to subvert the State of Israel can do so, I have no problem with that, but not through state funding. The state will not finance a cultural institution that burns the flag. Period.”
