Egypt officials say roadside bomb kills 2 and wounds 24

CAIRO – A roadside bombing in Egypt killed two policemen and wounded 24 others on Monday, accord to security and medical officials.

The blast targeted a bus carrying conscripts in the Nile Delta province of Beheira early Monday morning, said Police Brig. Gen. Khaled al-Hameed. Deputy Health Minister Alaa el-Deen confirmed the casualty figure.

No group has immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.
