Erdogan mandates Turkish PM Davutoglu to form interim government

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday mandated Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu to form an interim government which will lead the country to a new election, Erdogan’s office said in a statement. Erdogan formally called for a fresh parliamentary election late on Monday in a widely anticipated move after two months of coalition talks failed to produce a working government.
