The fires that have burned across Israel since Tuesday continue, with new areas threatened as others have come under control.
A new fire has broken out in Modiin, the Israeli Police Foreign Press Office reported Thursday morning. Four police cars, eight fire trucks, and two planes have been dispatched to handle the fire and prevent injury to residents. Several Modiin schools have been closed. Additionally, the Klil Hahoresh, Dotan Valley, and Yair Peleg roads are closed to traffic.
