Gay Pride Parade to draw 180,000 to Tel Aviv

Around 180,000 people are expected to party in central Tel Aviv Friday for the annual Gay Pride Parade, and police will deploy in force to secure the event and redirect traffic in the notoriously congested city.

The march will begin at noon after a party at Gan Meir on King George Street. It will then make its way down Bograshov Street to Ha-Yarkon Street, Frishman Street and then south on Herbert Samuel Boulevard along the seaside and ending at Charles Clore Park, where a party will be held until nightfall.
