Gaza court sentences alleged spy to death

A military court in the Gaza Strip has sentenced a 37-year-old to death by firing squad for allegedly spying for “hostile elements”, meaning Israel, Gaza’s Interior Ministry wrote on its website Monday. According to the sentence, the accused provided information about “members of the resistance” in Gaza, which led to some of their deaths. It also claimed that he had entered Israeli territory through the border fence on a number of occasions.
