It's summertime in Gaza, and that means Hamas terrorist training camps to teach children and teens the ways of jihad; the first camp of the season, "Hamas knights," ended this Tuesday night.
The Hamas political propaganda system that hosted the youth camp dedicated the camp activities to the Arab terrorists currently jailed in Israel.
Ayman Barud, who is responsible for the Hamas camps in western Gaza, said during a Hamas event in Gaza City that the participants of the camp identify with Khader Adnan, the Islamic Jihad terrorist who has been hunger-striking in jail for 36 days.
"Youth of Palestine today show solidarity with the prisoner Khader who is managing the campaign of empty intestines against the prisons of the occupation, and with the prisoner Abdullah al-Barghouti who was again transferred to isolation," Barud said, as quoted by the Palestinian Arab SAFA.
Al-Barghouti is serving 67 life sentences for his part in conducting terrorist attacks, in which 66 Israelis were murdered.
No less than 850 youths took part in the summer camp, and at the event they bore signs demanding the release of Adnan and attacking the system of political arrests by the Palestinian Authority (PA) in Judea and Samaria, which often target Hamas terrorists who last summer tried to stage a coup in the region.
Barud also detailed the camp activities at the event in Gaza City, noting that the participants aged 15 to 18 are trained in combat and civilian defense, and that the camp was meant to strengthen their "Palestinian identity," as well as prevent the possibility that the youth might hand over information to Israel.
