Less than a month after reports surfaced about a clothing store in Gaza City named "Hitler 2" that features knife-wielding mannequins, it seems the store has at least one copycat, possibly yearning for the same kind of international notoriety the first one received.
The Flash 90 news photo agency features of another, unnamed store – this one in southern Gaza – which also placed knives in the hands of its street mannequins. This time, the mannequins are female.
The knives are an obvious homage to the current murderous terror spree against Israeli Jews, in which knives are a popular weapon.
The photos of the Hitler 2 store that made waves in early November were first published by the pro-Hamas Shehab News Agency Facebook page.
In October, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu pointed to a link between Adolf Hitler and the Mufti of Jerusalem, going so far as to claim that the Mufti had demanded that the Nazis "burn" the Jews when Hitler was still only thinking of expelling them.
Netanyahu later explained that he did not mean to say that the Mufti convinced Hitler to adopt the Final Solution, but that “the Mufti was one of those who supported the Nazi goal of destroying the Jews. He conducted his activities from Berlin during the war, disseminated virulent anti-Semitic propaganda on behalf the Nazis, recruited Muslims to the SS, demanded that after conquering the Middle East the Nazis destroy the Jewish national home and vigorously opposed the emigration of Jews – even children – from the Nazi inferno, knowing full well that this would seal their fate.”
