Hamas has released data about the current "al-Quds Intifada" which show an escalation in terror attacks on Israelis last month.
According to the movement's figures there were 23 attacks in June, including two stabbings, 10 shootings and 10 bombings. This is an increase over the 18 attacks in May.
In addition, there were more than 65 cases of Molotov cocktails and pipe bombs hurled at Israeli civilians and security forces, and 328 other violent confrontations between Palestinians and Israeli security forces.
Five Israelis were murdered – the most in a single month since last November, during which 11 Israelis were murdered. Forty-four Israelis were injured in June.
The ongoing wave of violence is now in its tenth month.
