IDF prosecution indicts Hebron shooter for manslaughter

Ending the first round of a three-week battle which has and promises to continue to transfix the nation, the IDF Prosecution on Monday filed an indictment for manslaughter with the military courts against the Hebron soldier who shot a Palestinian terrorist on March 24 after he was already wounded and lying motionless on the ground.

A gag order on the soldier’s name was also expected to be ordered removed by the Jaffa Military Court which was hearing arguments over whether he will be kept in open detention on an army base now that he has been indicted.
