Iran, Turkey must develop ‘common perspective’ to end regional strife – Turkish PM

Turkey and Iran must develop a “common perspective” in order to end sectarian strife in the region, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said during a visit to Tehran on Saturday.

The neighboring countries are at odds over the war in Syria: Iran is a key supporter of President Bashar al-Assad and, Turkey is his most outspoken critic.
