Israel issues travel warnings for 41 countries ahead of High Holidays

Israel’s Counter-Terrorism Bureau on Monday published 41 travel warnings ahead of the High Holidays and the departure of hundreds of thousands of Israelis to foreign countries next month. Despite the fact that there are no new warnings on the list, the bureau emphasized the warning about the Sinai Peninsula in light of the area’s local ISIS affiliate’s growth. Likewise, it noted that Turkey – which has seen a return of many Jewish tourists – still has a low level travel warning even without a concrete threat because of terror attacks in Turkey in recent months.
