Jewish Home MK Moti Yogev continues to attack the Israeli Supreme Court despite the fierce backlash he received from other similar condemnatory comments.
Speaking to Galei Israel on Thursday morning, Yogev asserted the Supreme Court has become "the enemy of the people and the state, defending no one."
The comments follow a controversial Facebook post in which the MK called for the Supreme Court to be leveled with a D-9 bulldozer.
"The time has come to put the judiciary in its place and show it who is sovereign," he charged.
It was just one of many angry comments written by Jewish Home party members following the evacuation, ordered by the Supreme Court, of families from the Dreinof neighborhood in Beit El.
Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked took a more diplomatic stance, distancing herself from Yogev's comments, while still expressing her dismay at the court's ruling.
"I obviously renounce these things. The Supreme Court is an important institution, and even if we don not agree with some of its ruling – we must honor them," she stated.
