K8 beats Beersheba in showdown for second place

Ironi Kiryat Shmona wrapped up the runners-up position in the Premier League on Sunday night, defeating Hapoel Beersheba 3-1 thanks to a Roei Kehat hat-trick.

The 23-year-old Kehat got the week off to a dream start ahead of his wedding on Tuesday and also gave the local fans a farewell present in what may well have been his final home game for Kiryat Shmona, which moved five points clear of Beersheba with one more game remaining.

Kehat holds an offer from Austria Vienna, with Maccabi Tel Aviv and Maccabi Haifa also very interested in his services.
