Hanna Knyazyeva-Minenko became just the second Israeli to win a medal at the athletics world championships on Monday, finishing in second place in the triple jump final with a new national record and personal best leap of 14.78 meters in Beijing, China.

The 25-year-old set her record jump with her second attempt, which was only bettered by Caterine Ibarguen of Colombia, who won with 14.90.
