Lapid: A PM that cares about Israel would have built alliance with Saudi Arabia

Yesh Atid chairman Yair Lapid slammed Prime Minister Benjamin Netayahu’s management of the Iran deal during a speech at Bar-Ilan University on Sunday during which he presented his political plan and vision for the future of the State of Israel, further forwarding his bid for prime minister.

"I don’t know if the people of Israel have understood yet the extent of the damage caused by Netanyahu, not only on the deal, but also the wider implications, " he stated.

Netanyahu’s "arrogance and bluntness" in speaking before Congress without a direct invitation by President Barack Obama is to blame for the tense relationship between Israel and the United States, he claimed.
