Liberman: Netanyahu is the world champion of zigzags

Yisrael Beytenu chief MK Avigdor Liberman attacked Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday, referring to the Likud leader as "the world champion of zigzags," and someone who "has no connection to the nationalist camp."

Liberman’s comments, made at a Yisrael Beytenu faction meeting, came after a recording released by Army Radio earlier on Monday documented the prime minister saying to Likud activists that, "I don’t think even one percent of Yisrael Beytenu voters would have voted for that party if they knew they would unite with the Left to bring down a Likud government."

Liberman rejected Netanyahu’s assertion that his intention in leaving coalition talks and joining the opposition was to weaken the Likud.
