Likud asks social media sites to remove offensive pics

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud wrote letters to Facebook and Twitter Tuesday formally requesting the removal from their sites of pictures the party deemed incitement.

A man who identified himself as Asheriko, who has only two followers on Twitter, posted pictures of Netanyahu, President Reuven Rivlin, Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon, Supreme Court president Miriam Naor, Attorney-General Yehuda Weinstein, and State Prosecutor Shai Nitzan in keffiahs and Nazi uniforms.

"The oppressor of the Jews opposes the death penalty for terrorists," Asheriko wrote above a picture of Weinstein in an SS uniform.
