Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is projected to win the primaries in Georgia and Virginia, while her rival Bernie Sanders will win Vermont, initial results from Super Tuesday voting has found.
On the Republican side, Donald Trump is projected to win in Georgia, with Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio in a close race for second place, according to CNN.
Georgia has 76 delegates to award.
An initial count of the votes found Clinton to be leading in Georgia with 72.5% of the votes. Trump is leading with 50.7% of the votes, with Cruz in second place at 21% and then Rubio with 17.5%.
In Vermont, Sanders' home state, he had an initial lead of more than 90%. On the Republican side, Trump was leading with 36.7% after 1.1% of the ballots were counted.
Trump is also projected to win Alabama, Massachusetts and Tennessee, while Clinton is projected wo win in Alabama and Tennessee.
