Former justice minister MK Tzipi Livni met on Monday with Tobias Ellwood, Britain’s Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, to present him with Israel’s report on Operation Protective Edge. Livni told Ellwood that since the UN report on the Gaza war is expected to be biased and anti-Israel, “it’s important that the correct
picture of reality – factually, morally and legally” – is presented to the British administration. While in London, Livni also met with the director-general of the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Sir Simon Gass, who also represents the UK in nuclear talks with Iran. After receiving an update on the talks, Livni conveyed Israel’s concerns of the agreement taking shape.
