Multi billion budget deal for Arab sector aims to improve standard of living

A senior official in the administration of the Arab city of Sakhnin in northern Israel told "The Jerusalem Post" that the multi billion budget deal reached with the government for the Arab sector is a step in the right direction and now the Arab side expects the amount to be allocated in the next budget.

Kasim Abu Raya, the manager of the Sakhnin municipality, said the economic plan touches on many of the fields in the Arab sector such as education, infrastructure, housing, and social services.
