Netanyahu and Rivlin meet for first time in two and a half months

President Reuven Rivlin and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met on Friday at the President’s Residence for a routine update meeting after a two and a half months amid concerns that a rift had formed between the politicians, according to Israel Radio.

The president and the prime minister met to discuss the regional political situation reflected in the latest news developments and the ongoing operations to combat terrorism.

At the meeting, Netanyahu and Rivlin agreed to continue to meet for updates and to work together for the sake of the challenges that stand before the State of Israel.
