Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman held a security briefing following today's terror attack in Kiryat Arba.
The two approved a series of security measures following the murderous attack, including a lock-down on the village of Bani Na'im, where the terrorist was from. All work permits from members of the murderer's clan have been revoked and security forces are preparing to demolish the terrorist's home.
"This horrific murder of an innocent girl sleeping in her bed illustrates the lust for murder and the inhumanity of terrorists seeped in incitement," said Netanyahu.
"We stand against them. The entire nation sympathizes deeply with the pain of the family and tells the murderers, 'You can not break us. We will continue to act strongly and resolutely against terrorism in every place and at every time'."
"The entire world must condemn this murder, just as it condemned the bombings in Orlando and Brussels. I expect the Palestinian leadership to unequivocally condemn this brutal murder, and to take immediate action to end incitement. It is the responsibility of enlightened nations to join us in this demand. They must exert pressure on the person who stands at the head of this system of incitement, which leads to the murder of children in their beds, and not against a country that works to protect her children and civilians."
