‘No security for Israelis till terrorists go free’

In honor of "Palestinian prisoner day," Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah faction has published an announcement declaring its absolute support of the Arab terrorists jailed in Israel, including serial murderers and those who sent suicide bombers.

Abbas serves as the leader of Fatah, the PA, and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) – the 1994 Oslo Accords created and armed the PA, and removed the terrorist status from Fatah and the PLO even though they continue to incite terror and have never renounced terrorism.

Fatah claimed that Israel was holding the Palestinian "fighters" in detention centers that "are similar to the detention centers of the Nazis, and in them the Palestinian fighters are slowly put to death by various methods."

Jailed Arab terrorists in fact receive preferential treatment over jailed criminals, enjoying numerous perks.

"The issue (of releasing) the prisoners is one of the fundamental national positions," emphasized Fatah.

Abbas' faction continued by saying, "there will be no solution, peace, stability or security for the state of the occupation other than (through) the freedom (of the prisoners), because the prisoners are fighters for freedom."

The statement is particularly ironic as earlier this month Abbas told Israeli TV that he remains open to peace and he condemns the current terror wave, even as he and his organizations continue to incite the terror.

In the last peace talks pressed on both sides by US Secretary of State John Kerry, Israel released a full 78 Arab terrorists as a "gesture" merely to hold the talks. The talks were torpedoed by the PA in April 2014 when it signed a unity deal with Hamas.
