Now who’s pulling the strings?: The newest political puppets in Knesset

Puppets and politicians rubbed elbows in the Knesset Thursday morning, at the launch of “Honorable Knesset,” a new children’s television show about the legislature.

The twelve-episode series, which will be aired on the Educational Channel, stars two puppets, named Hipster and Chakula, and two humans – Dov Navon of the sketch comedy show “Wonderful Country” and actress Dana Semo of the political comedy “Polishuk,” depicting reporters in the halls of the Knesset.

The episodes focus on the legislative process, Knesset committees, the Green Knesset project, women in the Knesset and more.
