PM to address conservative, liberal think tanks in DC

WASHINGTON – Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet with two think tanks during his trip to Washington next month, accepting an award from the American Enterprise Institute and addressing the Center for American Progress.

The two speeches will provide the prime minister with an opportunity to politically balance his visit. At AEI, he will deliver the organization’s Irving Kristol Lecture, typically imparted by prominent conservative leaders.

CAP, on the other hand, is considered a liberal counterweight – providing Netanyahu with a chance to express his commitment to liberal democratic values, according to Israeli officials.
