Police yet to rule out terror attack in murder of farm worker on moshav

Police from the Central District are investigating the murder of an Israeli agricultural worker Wednesday night as a possible nationalist attack, and have tasked their special investigative unit with the case.

The spokesman for the district said Thursday morning that at the moment all motives are being examined by investigators, and that none have been ruled out, including that it was a simple work dispute.

The victim, 70-year-old David Bar Kafra of Rehovot, was attacked by a group of agricultural workers – believed to be illegal Palestinian laborers or possibly Thai agricultural workers –  and beaten with a blunt object, while working in one of the fields at the moshav of Pedaya.
