Poll finds frustration with government 50 days in

Israelis give poor grades to their government in the monthly Peace Index poll released Tuesday by the Israel Democracy Institute (IDI) and Tel Aviv University that was taken last week in honor of the government’s 50th day.

The survey revealed that 27% of the general public gives the Likud-led government a grade of 0 (on a scale of satisfaction from 0 to 5) while only 8.8% gave the government a grade of 5. Dissatisfaction with the main opposition party is even greater, with 27% of the general public giving the Zionist Union a grade of 0 for its performance at the head of the opposition, while only 3.5% gave it a grade of 5.
