The dean of the Brisk Yeshiva in Zichron Moshe, Rabbi Meir Soloveitchik, passed away on Saturday.
Rabbi Soloveitchik had suffered a serious stroke in March, and had been hospitalized since the incident. He was 87 years old.
The funeral procession is scheduled to leave Rabbi Soloveitchik’s house on Hazanowitz Street in Jerusalem at 11 a.m.
Police are expecting heavy attendance and are closing down a number of major streets, including Malkhei Yisrael.
Rabbi Soloveitchik will be laid to rest at the Har HaMenuchot cemetery.
