‘Ramadan Nights’ tours of Arab villages to take place during Ramadan

The Muslim holy month of Ramadan is just around the corner and the initiative “Ramadan Nights,” now in its 10th year, seeks to boost Jewish visits to Arab areas during this month of fasting.

During Ramadan, which begins next week, Muslims fast from dawn until dusk, and afterwards they eat and meet with families and friends.

Ramadan Nights, organized by NGO Sikkuy – the Association for the Advancement of Civic Equality, and funded by USAID, will take place during Ramadan and any members of the public are invited to take part in tours of Arab localities in four regions of the country.
