Rebels encircle a Druze village on the Syrian side of the Golan

Beirut – Rebels encircled a Druze village controlled by the regime of Bashar Assad on Wednesday, located on the Syrian side of the Golan Heights annexed by Israel, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (OSDH ).

On Tuesday, Israel, which has a large Druze minority, announced that it was preparing for a possible influx of Syrians, especially Druze, fleeing the fighting in the area.
