Report: Yad Vashem uses taxi service that refuses to hire Arab drivers

Yad Vashem, Israel’s museum immortalizing the Holocaust and its victims, counts as one of its clients a Jerusalem-area taxi service that refuses to hire Arab drivers, according to an investigation conducted by Army Radio.

The taxi service, “Hapisgah Taxis,” offers Yad Vashem employees rides to and from work as part of transport benefits that the museum confers upon its workers.

Yet an Army Radio report indicates that Hapisgah’s declared policy is that it is only willing to employ “army veterans.”
