President Reuven Rivlin held a working meeting at his residence on Tuesday with the Vice President and Foreign Minister of Panama, Isabel Saint Malo de Alvarado.
He asked that she convey his warm wishes to the President and the people of Panama.
"We appreciate greatly the great friendship and understanding between our two countries, even when we agree to disagree," he stated.
The Vice President thanked the President for his warm welcome.
"This is my first time in Israel and I am grateful to you and to all the Government of Israel for the warm welcome I have received," she said. "Israel is a beautiful country so full of history which one can always learn about, but it is another thing to be here and experience it firsthand."
