Security cameras catch fatal Negev crash

Three men in their 30s died and two others were moderately wounded, after a bus collided with a private vehicle in the Negev on Thursday morning, Magen David Adom paramedics reported.

The accident occurred on the southern stretch of Road 40 at the Lehavim intersection, after the front side of an empty passenger bus crashed into a private car, and another private car rammed into a traffic sign, according to MDA’s spokesman, Zaki Heller. MDA paramedics declared the deaths of the three men in their 30s at the scene, while evacuating the 40-year-old driver of the first private car and the 70-year-old driver of the car that hit the sign to Soroka Hospital in Beersheba, the spokesman said.

The driver of the first private car was in critical condition as of Thursday morning, with multi-system injuries but remaining conscious, the MDA report said.
