Arutz Sheva is stopping its round-the-clock news updates of IsraelNationalNews.com at this time in honor of the Sabbath.
Updates will resume Sunday night from Israel, following the conclusion of the Shavuot holiday at 20:16 Jerusalem time.
In honor of Shavuot, which commemorates the giving of the Torah and Divine Revelation at Mount Sinai, Jews throughout the world will spend Saturday night immersed in Torah study, many of them not going to sleep until after the Shacharit morning prayers.
One such all-night Torah study sessions, taking place in the Israeli city of Elad, will be dedicated in memory of the three Israeli teens murdered last summer by Hamas terrorists; Gilad Sha'er, Naftali Frenkel, and Eyal Yifrah, who was a resident of Elad.
Earlier this week Arutz Sheva spoke to community figures in Elad to hear their thoughts nearly a year on from the murders.
