Shaked, AG can wait on emergency motion to end prosecutors’ strike

Justice Minister Ayeley Shaked and Attorney-General Avichai Mandelblit suffered a first setback on Monday when the Jerusalem Regional Labor Court postponed a hearing to Tuesday on their emergency motion to end the union of state prosecutors strike.

Late Sunday night Shaked and Mandelblit took the radical move of employing the private law firm of Nachum Feinberg to file a motion with the court to compel the union to break a 9-day old strike protesting moves by Shaked and the ministry’s oversight czar.
