Sixteen year old Israeli snatches coveted slot in Eurovision semi-final

For the first time since 2010, Israel’s entry into the annual Eurovision song competition has advanced past the semi-final stage.

According to Israel Radio, on Thursday sixteen year-old Nadav Guedj, the youngest contestant in the competition, successfully captured the last final slot after wowing the judges and the Vienna audience with his super-poppy track, Golden Boy.

Guedj will appear among the final ten performers when he takes the stage in the finals this Saturday night.
