Tel Aviv is the city with the highest rate of families without children, according to a report released by the Central Bureau of Statistics ahead of Family Day.
According to the report, in 2013 there were some 1.91 million families living in Israel, compared to 1.6 million a decade ago. Of these families some 1.53 million are Jewish and some 333,000 are Arab.
The average Israeli family includes 3.7 people, a figure that has not changed these past ten years. In breaking this down by sector, the average Jewish family includes 3.55 people and the average Arab family includes 4.62 people.
