A Sheikh has been spotted teaching martyrdom and terror to little children on the Temple Mount in footage captured Monday – and the Israel Police can be seen standing idly by, doing nothing.
In the footage, published by the Middle East Research Media Institute (MEMRI), a Sheikh teaches the children about rewards for martyrdom – virgins – and urges them to 'stand guard' over the Mount, which the Arab world has falsely claimed is an Islamic holy site. Several Border Police officers can be seen nonchalantly listening to the Sheikh off to one side at about 0:25.
Later, a burka-clad Muslim woman leads the children in chants calling for revenge against the Jews, martyrdom, and a Muslim takeover of Israel.
In the middle of the camp, an Arab passerby actively scolds the Sheikh for teaching the children these concepts, explaining that they "do not what you are saying."
"They are children," he says. "You are talking to them about ribat, martyrdom, and the virgins of Paradise…shame on you! You can teach these lessons to [adults] like us, not to them."
"Look at these children," he continued. "Look what you are planting in their minds. Shame on you!"
